Girls Varsity Head Coach
Dalton Cox
Dalton Cox serves as the VP of Operations and Marketing at Marlin Academy, a sports training academy on the southside. He also serves as the Worship Director for Ascend Bible Church in Perry Meridian. Dalton and his wife, Morgan, live in Franklin with their daughter, Marlee, and their two Australian Shepherds, KC and Indy. When he’s not working on the court or leading worship, Dalton is spending time with his family, playing games with his friends, and cheering for Kansas City sports teams.

Ben Parker
Ben Parker is married to Sarah and have two daughters, Anna and Ellie, and one son, Benaiah. They moved to Greenwood from Fort Lauderdale in 2018 for Ben to serve Crosspointe Community Church as Lead Pastor. Ben grew up in Ohio (graduated from Miami University), but moved to Florida in 2006 to be able play competitive beach doubles year round. He has been playing indoor and outdoor volleyball since he was 12 years old, earning First Team All-Ohio honors, and finishing as high as 25th in an AVP tournament. He has over 10+ seasons of coaching experience at a variety of levels and looks forward to mentoring these young men in the great sport of volleyball, as well as in their walk with Christ.
Junior High Head Coach
Lissa Hummel
Lissa played volleyball in high school, but her love for the game really started after college when she began playing sand volleyball in various leagues and tournaments with friends. She is now sharing her love of the sport with young girls and is enjoying coaching her daughters’ elementary team, this year being her second year with Indy Genesis.
This fall, Lissa and her husband Michael will begin their 8th year homeschooling their 4 children: Nathan, Audrey, Marci and Logan. Their family just moved to Avon in June as Michael has accepted a position as the high school choir director at Plainfield High School. During any free time, Lissa would be found being active and outside in nature as much as possible, reading historical fiction, volunteering with Meals on Wheels or a local food shelter or taking a good nap.

Lindsay Aberle
Lindsay has enjoyed volleyball since 3rd grade and played club, high school and JV volleyball at Olivet Nazarene University. She graduated in 2019 with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy and works for OrthoIndy. Lindsay's favorite thing about volleyball is winning a big point after working hard as a team and chasing after a ball to get it back in the court. She looks forward to helping Indy Genesis with specific skills like serving and hitting along with improving the team's strength and conditioning for optimal performance and injury prevention. Outside of volleyball, she enjoys running, hiking, traveling, and hanging out with her husband and family.

Jamie Deerr
Jamie recently married Michael this past summer. She has been around the sport of volleyball for many years, playing both club and school volleyball in high school as an outside hitter and defense specialist (DS). She then played four years of collegiate volleyball at the University of Indianapolis as a DS, graduating with a degree in Exercise Science in 2016. Jamie received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UIndy in 2019, and currently works in Greenwood. In her free time, she enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, playing in various volleyball leagues and traveling.

Pam Drook
Pam returns to Genesis in her fourth year as Athletic Director and Junior High Head Coach. She delights in the game as a former player and brings years of coaching experience to the court. Pam is dedicated to skills training and desires to serve the players and their families through an exciting and smoothly run season. A graduate of Ball State University, Pam worked in Corporate America before coming home to raise her children and homeschool. She has been married to Paul for 34 years and they have five children and four grandchildren. Her family enjoys the outdoors, as they have many years of hiking and camping under their belt.

Andrew & Mandi Wilkerson
Andrew and Mandi have been married for 21 years and have four children, Abigayle (Abi), Alyse, Arie, and Asher. Andrew works for IU Health as a Supply Chain Director and has served the past three years as an elder at Stones Crossing Church. Mandi is in her 10th year of homeschooling and before that worked as an elementary/middle school teacher. She also has served in various leadership/ministry roles within her church and community. Andrew and Mandi are passionate about marriage, student and family ministry, and encouraging others in their relationship with Christ. In their spare time they love date nights, spending time outdoors, playing games, watching movies, and spending time together as a family.

Carrie Lee Booth
Carrie Lee and Dr. Dave Booth have been married for 23 years and have four daughters currently living with them including Liv, Ella, Evelyn and Addie. In 2019 their family was completed through adoption from Colombia. Carrie Lee holds a bachelors in psychology and Master’s in ILR and studied abroad at Oxford University. She is now a full time Mom and in her 4th non-consecutive year of homeschool. Carrie Lee is an active volunteer in several ministries at Fair Haven Christian Church. In her spare time she enjoys cooking, gardening and serving with her family.

Ceslie Hilden
Ceslie is married to Andy Hilden and they have two daughters, Camie and Maggie. They moved to Greenwood in 2016, for Andy to serve Grace Baptist Church as Associate/Youth Pastor and an Indiana National Guard Chaplain. Ceslie is in her 4th year of homeschooling. She also serves on several ministries at their church, runs a pregnancy pantry, and owns her own business. In the summer you can find her at the lake and in the winter you can find her snuggled up near a fireplace.

Shelley Garcia
Shelley Garcia is married to Michael Garcia, and together, they have been blessed with seven children and seven grandchildren. Shelley is in her 17th year of homeschooling her children. She has been in the financial services industry for 25 years and served as treasurer on the MMA Parent’s Committee. As a family, the Garcias enjoy traveling together to visit family and friends and serving on mission trips in other countries.

Liz Clayton
Liz Clayton is married to Rick Clayton. They have been blessed with Isaac and Sophia. Liz has been able to be a stay-at-home mom and has homeschooled for 6 years. Previously, she worked as an Account Executive at a manufacturing company. Their family has served the community in numerous ways. Loving the people God places in their life is a gift they get to do together. As a family they love spending time camping, being at the beach, fishing (or watching), and visiting with extended family.

Alicia Goodman
Alicia Goodman has been serving as the volleyball secretary for the last 3 years. She has two children, Rebecca (plays volleyball for Genesis) and Eli (plays soccer for Genesis). Alicia is in her 6th year of homeschooling her children. She serves as the Administrative Assistant at New Life Church and volunteers in many ministries at church. She is a great fit to serve as the Secretary of the Volleyball Sport Board. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with a good book
