Phil Smith
Varsity Head Coach
Phil Smith is married to Taunya Smith and they have 4 children, Mekhi, Maya, Keyton, and Abigail. Phil is a teacher at Beech Grove High School and he teaches Special Education. Taunya is a stay at home mother who works tirelessly homeschooling their four children. Phil played baseball in highschool and has coached many travel ball teams as well as public school teams. Phil also spends time umpiring during the spring, summer and fall months. The Smith family enjoys camping, traveling to the beach, watching movies and spending time with each other. Phil personally loves to grill on his smoker and coaching! They attend church at Living Word Bible Church on the southside of Indy!

Rex Snyder
Middle School Head Coach
Rex is married to Tracy, they have 4 children, Jackson, Melissa, Nolan and Sadie, and one grandchild, Ellie. They have been homeschooling for 4 years. Rex played baseball through the high school level and has coached 6 seasons of youth baseball and softball. Rex looks forward to building relationships with the players on the team and being a positive influence in their lives both on the field and in their relationship with Christ. Outside of baseball he enjoys traveling, camping, gardening and smoking and grilling meat.

Ryan Barnes
Athletic Director
Ryan Barnes is married to Racheal Barnes and they have 4 + 1 (Lord willing) kids. Gabe, Gideon, Silas, Lily +1 Blessing (18mo). Ryan played baseball all through childhood, and was the pitching coach for SE Indiana Panthers. Ryan also spent time working for the Reds, and baseball is the sport he follows. Ryan is bringing that passion for the game to Genesis as the AD.

Christina Coy
Director of Community
Christina and Kris Coy have been married for 26 years. They have seven children Alecia, Paul, Chrishaun, Kristen, Christiana, Michael, and Kristopher all which were Homeschooled. Christina and Kris are owners of Applecritters Child Care, which has been such a blessing in serving so many families over the last 20 years. Christina and Kris attend Anderson First Church of the Nazarene, where they serve in the Youth Department Homeschool Chapel, Wednesday night, community meals, and many other areas of the church. Their favorite thing is to show Christ to those around them and to have friends and family close by.

Adam Kramer
Secretary
Adam has been married to Gina for 17 years and they have 3 children, Elijah, Ethan, & Everett. Ethan is a member of the Indy Genesis Baseball team. Adam spent 18 years in sales and digital marketing before becoming an independent stock & options trader in 2021. He has served in various roles with his community HOA board including Secretary, Treasurer, and President. Adam loves that Genesis is a Christ-focused organization that allows young individuals to develop athletically & spiritually without families having to compromise church attendance for athletic competitions. In his free time, Adam enjoys spending time with his family, playing pickleball, and all things outdoors.
